About Us!

Cristal Azul opened in 2001 and is owned and operated by husband and wife team Henner Morales and Zene Randall, and a few dogs!

He is a native to Costa Rica and professional sport fishing captain and she is an ex teacher and transplant from Boston, USA.

Together they have worked to create an environment which offers travelers a vacation destination different than that of the typical beach front hotels that are found in most towns along the coastlines and the larger, all inclusive luxury resorts.

Having found the perfect location, they enjoy opening their home to visitors.
